We can stamp documents relating to simple transactions, which include the following:
- A simple contract and transfer between non-related parties. If the purchaser qualifies for an exemption, or a concession, the appropriate Exemption Application form and necessary supporting evidence must be provided. (Contact our stamping staff prior to attending if you require any assistance in this regard).
- A contract and transfer between related parties must be accompanied by a current valuation of the subject property by a registered valuer (original valuation document required).
More complex matters?
Apart from a variety of simple transactions that we can process on-line, we can also handle complex stamp duty matters that can only be processed through the OSR. You can contact us by phone or arrange for an appointment to discuss such matters with one of our experienced staff.
Payment methods and fees
Please note: A bank cheque, or solicitor's trust account cheque, is required for the payment of stamp duty, drawn in favour of the Office of State Revenue. The cost for this service is $35.00 per stamping transaction, payable by separate cheque in our favour, or with cash, at time of stamping.
